FUTURE PLANS :

The Palghat Fine Arts Society has plans to build a five storey building to facilitate its activities.This dream project had its manifestation with the construction of the present auditorium on a strong foundation, where it is possible to have four more floors. In the first floor all sister organisations will be provided office accommodation. In the Second floor it is planned to have audio-video facilities, recording studio, screening facilities etc which will have an International library and archives.This will naturally lead to research and studies, for which facilities will be created on the third floor. The fourth floor will be the tourist wing for international tourists. Perhaps such a cultural gallery as planned by the Society will be a unique one in the entire State.

The Palghat Fine Arts Society proposes to recognize the contribution made by eminent artistes by instituting a Life Time Achievement Award. The award will be given every year and this will be decided by an independent Jury consisting of prominent persons in the field of music. This year this award will be given in the month of October, during the next major music festival planned from 22 to 26 of the same month. the Venue for this will be called "Sree Swathithirunal Nagar". The name of the award will be

"Palghat Fine Arts Puraskaram". Every year the Puraskaram will be given during the National Music Festival.
